Convert iCloud HEIC Photos to JPG
When you download originals from iCloud, they often arrive as HEIC, which Windows and many websites cannot open.

Why does iCloud download HEIC?
iCloud stores iPhone photos in their original HEIC format to save space, and downloads keep that format unless changed.
Can I make iCloud download JPG?
On Apple devices you can set Camera to Most Compatible for future photos, but existing iCloud HEIC files still need conversion.
Are files uploaded?
No. HEIC Photo processes files locally in your browser. Your photos are not uploaded to a server, saved in cloud storage, or sent to analytics. Optional analytics only receive non-identifying usage signals after consent.
